COMPETITIONS


Competitions and Awards:

 

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION FOR BEST STOP MOTION ANIMATION:

  • competition screenings take place from 22nd to 24th Sept. 2011 in Lodz (Poland)
  • awards will be presented on 22nd Oct. 2011 in Lugano (Switzerland)
  • awards are given in a following categories:
Grand Prix for Best Animation (award for producer),
Little Peter for Best Director,
Little Peter for Best Main Animator,
Little Peter for Best Film for Children and Audience Award.

 

POLISH ANIMATION INDUSTRY COMPETITION:

  • competition screenings take place from 22nd to 24th Sept. 2011 in Lodz (Poland)
  • awards will be presented on 25th Sept. 2011 in Lodz (Poland)
  • awards are given in a following categories:
    • Grand Prix – Polish Filmmakers Association Award for best animation producer,
    • Award for Best Director,
    • Award for BEST Animation or other aspects of the film such as: music & sound design, photography, set design, etc. (up to Jury's decision)
    • Best Animation for Children,
    • Audience Award.

 

SPECIAL AWARDS FOR LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENTS will be presented in Lodz:

  • PETER Award for Lifetime Achievements in Stop Motion Animation for Polish Artist
  • PETER Award for Lifetime Achievements in Traditional Animation Techniques for Polish Artist
  • PETER Award for Lifetime Achievements in Stop Motion Animation for Foreign Artist
  • PETER Award for Lifetime Achievements in Traditional Animation Techniques for Foreign Artist
