Visitors of Museum can learn how different stop-motion animation techniques and technologies evolved within 100 years. An important part of the exhibition is dedicated to puppets and photos from “Beetles' Trainer”, a film presenting achievements of a pioneer of puppet animation, Polish artist – Wladyslaw Starewicz.
On exhibition visitors can also see fragments of decorations from world masterpieces of animation, such as “Ichthys” by Marek Skrobecki, as well as exhibits dedicated to Oscar winning animations from Se-Ma-For Studio: “Tango” by Zbigniew Rybczyński and “Peter and the Wolf” by Suzie Templeton. Other exhibits, such as: drawings, projects of puppets and decorations, photos, posters and elements of equipment used for film production are here to familiarize visitors with the process of creation of puppet animation. Our ambition is to illustrate the importance of visual elements in stop motion animation, as well as familiarizing public with it's specific technique.
